This project presents a full branding direction for Mendelbalm, a makeup brand focused on clean visuals and editorial-style presentation. The work explores how logo design, typography, and social media assets can come together as one cohesive identity system. The goal was to create a look that feels modern and premium while still staying clear, recognizable, and flexible across digital and print applications.

The Mendelbalm logo process began with visual research around modern beauty packaging and editorial branding. I explored multiple wordmark directions, refined the type pairing for balance and personality, then adjusted spacing and proportions to keep the mark clean across social and print layouts. The final logo was designed to feel premium, minimal, and adaptable within the wider brand identity system.

The process started with rough paper sketches to explore early logo and layout ideas quickly before moving into digital work. I then used Adobe Illustrator to build clean vector versions of the strongest concepts and refine typography, spacing, and overall structure. Adobe Photoshop was used to mock up the brand across social and editorial formats, test color and texture, and see how the identity felt in real-world applications. Throughout the project, I also gathered online inspiration from beauty branding references to guide the visual direction while keeping the final system original and cohesive.

The final identity was built around clear branding goals: create a recognizable look, communicate a premium but approachable personality, and keep the system consistent across every touchpoint. By aligning typography, logo, and social layouts, the brand now has a stronger visual voice that feels cohesive and intentional. The outcome is a flexible brand foundation that supports future campaigns, builds audience trust, and improves how quickly people can identify Mendel online and in print.
